After thorough preparation, the interview of the contestants for Jackie Chan’s disciple TV Program began in Beijing contest district from March 17. The interview was held on the second floor of “JiaHeJiaMei” Furniture Center and was opened to all the public audience. Many contestants who cherished earnest wish came to the spot on the first day. More than 200 contestants interviewed by the Judging Committee, over 40 will participate in the second round of examination to be held this weekend.

　　The interview will last to the middle of the May (From 10a.m. to 7p.m.). All Chinese people who want to enter the film and entertainment arena can enter their names and take part in it.

　　According to the prerequisites set by Jackie Chan, Jackie Chan’s disciple must have good physical condition, harmonious in their action and they also possess outstanding performing potential. So the standard for selecting the disciple was not only limited to Kung fu, it also includes dance, gymnastics, acrobatic gymnastics, acrobatics and unique skill. Contestant who considers himself to have the capacity to become action star can display on the spot.

　　(Hnagzhou,Jinan,Shenyang,Chengdu,Guangzshou,Zhengzhou ) will also start its interview. At the same time, the selecting event is also directed to all the Chinese descendants in America, Europe, Australia and some parts of Southeast Asia. They can experience the strong calls of Jackie Chan. Through the first period of selecting worldwide, 300 contestants will be decided to participate in the second round interview held I Beijing. Finally, after several examination, training and elimination, about 20 contestants will get the chance to play a part in the film supervised by Jackie Chan. They are hopful to become the successors of Jackie Chan and realize an important turning in their life.

　　To keep step with the interview, a magnificent opening ceremony will be held in Beijing on the seventh of April. The ceremony will be comply with the purpose of the event, and combine the carrying on Chinese culture, spreading Olympic spirit ,displaying national art elegance and publicizing harmony and benevolence. By then , Jackie Chan will attend the ceremony and open “the Dragon Gate” .Stars of various circles like Hongjinbao,Lilianjie, Zhenzidan, Yuanbiao,Yuanhua and Yangziqiong will also be invited to present.
